creative director jacinta james has left no luxurious and sustainable stone unturned  in offering her eponymous womenswear label. jacinta james is an australian made womenswear brand, grounded in eco-conscious and ethical values, driven by an undone, timeless elegance.

having worked with the likes of rick owens, jonathan cohen and kit willow, james has refined a couture and ready to wear aesthetic founded on international experience and a passion for her craft. before living in fashion capitals paris and new york, james graduated with a bachelor of visual arts specialising in textile and installation art at monash university melbourne, followed by a bachelor of fashion design at the prestigious rmit, where she graduated with honours as the dux of her graduate year.

james was awarded the highly regarded tisa prize receiving a scholarship to study haute couture in paris under madame gres couturiers, where she further refined her couture training. james went on to be shortlisted for the australian fashion foundation awards two years in a row and was selected as a semi finalist for the 2018/19 international woolmark prize.
