VOLUME 8, THE GOLDEN HOUR
Volume 8 was our most heartfelt creation to date. Each volume, has somehow felt more expansive than the last, and the creative process, more intricate. There is something truly intimate about sharing creative process and it was such a privilege to share this with a team of creatives I admire so greatly.
My beautiful Mum was our fit model for this volume and joined the studio and creative experience. Each volume, I work with my sister, Nikita on our lookbook design and overall curation. This volume she stepped in deeper, sourcing our set, props and worked across set styling. Claudia Smith, a creative kindred to our studio, captured the volume yet again in a way only she can. Claudia and I also collaborated across Creative Direction and Styling. There is something so magical about leaning into creativity with those you feel so aligned with and Claudia is one of those connects for me. Olympia Christou embodied the spirit of the volume as our muse. I have known Olympia since she was a teen – Nikita and Olympia were best friends throughout high school and re-joining us all together on set felt somewhat like a full circle. Styling mastermind Lauren Dietze joined us yet again, our seventh volume together, and the flawless Samantha P worked her Hair and Make up magic that our photoshoot family have become so accustomed to.
A true highlight this volume was the creative collaboration, across the shoot team and the contributors. It was an honour to feature the considered works of Holly Ryan (thanks to Jerico at Jerico Contemporary), Henry Wilson, Victoria Hempstead and Shannon Smith, alongside the stunning furnishings and homewares provided by the wonderful teams at Fred International, Jardan and Own World.
It is an absolute pleasure to share our studio offering, in collaboration with so many talented creatives, with you.”
In love and honour,
